Quick Photo Tips
Get a close up of your pet. This way I can better see all of their beautiful features.
Get an eye-level shot by crouching down when taking the photo.
It is best if you take the photo when your pet is either sitting or standing, not laying down.
Light plays an important role in good photos. For best results, take your photo outdoors, in daylight.
How it works
1 - Choose your size
Consider the size of the portrait. Will it be a small painting that you can display on a shelf, or a larger piece that will hang on your wall?
2 - Choose framing
When it comes to portraits, the right frame can make all the difference. Not only can it enhance the aesthetic of the piece, but it also provides long-term protection.
That's why I offer four framing options with every portrait - because I believe that every client deserves to have their artwork displayed in a way that they love.
And while sometimes opting in for an unframed portrait may seem like the more budget-friendly option, it often ends up costing just as much, if not more.
By choosing one of my pre-framed options, you'll be able to hang your portrait immediately upon receiving it - no running around trying to find the right frame for your piece.
Ultimately, my goal is for you to be able to sit back and enjoy your framed portrait for years to come.
3 - Add your pet's name
Even though it may seem like a small customization, adding your pet's name brings an extra level of charm and allows you to truly express your love for your furry friend.
And don't worry about whether you want the name included or not - simply specify that by writing "no name" in the designated text box and I'll leave it off.
Once you've placed your order, you will receive an email with simple photo tips. Reply to that email with photos of your pet. As soon as I've gotten your photos I'll be getting to work - turning your dog into a work of art.

I absolutely adore this painting! I got it for a neighbors' 30th wedding anniversary gift and cannot believe the amount of detail in their golden doodle's curls, especially since he is white/blonde. The price may seem steep to some but I can assure you the price is spot on for time & talents of this artist. Will be back to purchase more portraits!
*the shipping was a little confusing via tracking descriptions with what I know from the US shipping companies, but portrait still came when expected and undamaged, so no complaints 😊

I know that when you order a portrait of your pet, you're eager to receive it as soon as possible. I want to give you a realistic timeline for when you can expect to receive your finished watercolor painting. It usually takes me 10 business days to complete one portrait. Once finished and completely dry, I send each one with DHL Express.

Yes, it is possible to speed up the process by selecting the First In Line option before you submit your order. It is useful if you need your portrait quickly, for example if it's a gift. When you choose the queue jump option, I will mark your order as priority and get to work on it asap. It is important to note that "First In Line" does not affect the courier's delivery time.
